The establishment of WESTSTATE PRIVATE HOSPITAL on the site of an important historical and heritage building presents an opportunity to connect with the community of regional Townsville through the history of the site and the establishment of a modern state of the art hospital.
This development and establishment allows us to blend a health service and hospitality into one.
Our vision for the hospital is to provide a world-class specialist health service and another choice of private health service to the community; a health service with a patient centred focus, treating and caring for our patients as “Guests in Care”.
Our vision for Weststate
is reflected in three “E’s” (E³)
EXPERIENCE
Guests, Clinicians/Surgeons, Employees, CEO, Management & Other Service Providers
Our core focus is to ensure that our guests have an unbelievable experience whilst in our care. The experience is key to ensuring that our brand and reputation are promoted by our guests.
We recognised, in consultation with suppliers, clinicians, employees and management at other hospitals, that creating a culture of engagement was essential to our strategic success. This ensures that we can deliver with our stakeholders on our plan to deliver a return to our shareholders. We have created opportunities for stakeholders to be engaged in the design and development of the hospital.
An efficiently managed hospital will reduce cost. Our strategy is to shift the focus from a message of cost to a message which ensures all stakeholders understand we operate the hospital efficiently at all levels of engagement.
The E³ vision is to connect the guest experience with the stakeholders we engage with. Our engagement with stakeholders should lead to increased efficiency which in turn contributes to the guest experience. E³ is connected in both directions.
